Given a Tamil poetry, it analyzes all Metrical information (yaappu) and displays them. It also finds the metre of the Text. It can recognize all the 4 major types of Tamil Paa-s & the corresponding Paavinams

Avalokitam is a Tamil Prosody Analyzer. It is christened upon Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, whom the Tamil Mahayana Buddhists of the yore considered as the progenitor of the Tamil Language.

Given a Tamil Prosody Text, it analyzes all the Metrical information (yāppu) such as acai, cīr, vāypāṭu, taḷai, aṭi, toṭai etc and displays them. It also attempts to find the metre of the Text. It can recognize all the 4 major types of Tamil metre namely, veṇpā, āciriyappā, kalippā & vañcippā & the corresponding pāviṉam-s : veṇpāviṉam, āciriyappāviṉam, kalippāviṉam & vañcippāviṉam.
